Conrad excels in the nuances of identifying and securing city, state and federal funding for worthy organizations, especially those with an educational mission.
Experience ~ Conrad has led educational initiatives at the city, state and national level.
Public School ~ As Special Assistant to the Superintendent of the Philadelphia School District, Mr. Jones forged and coordinated relationships between the city, school district and elected officials. He developed legislative and funding strategies to fulfill the District’s mission, and dramatically increased the District’s rate of minority contracting.
Higher Education ~ Mr. Jones served as Temple University’s Assistant Vice President for Local Government Affairs, and Assistant Vice President for Affirmative Action. In cooperation with the Urban Coalition, he developed the highest minority participation rate for a construction project in the City of Philadelphia. Conrad served as Director of the Bureau of Equal Educational Opportunity at the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
